After retiring from being an academic this spring, my plan for the summer is to make it a season of exploration for me and the boys. A time to jump into new things. A time to set out on new adventures. A time to explore for the sake of exploration. A time to experiment for the sake of experimentation. A time to see new places and meet new people. A time not to reflect on the past or plan for the future, but rather to be fully present in the present.
